Regular (BES) version works faster and more effective, and we recommend everyone to try it if you have TCP/IP connection on your BlackBerry device. Even if your wireless carrier doesn't provide TCP/IP connection, you still can use IM+ Regular version with 3rd party BES/MDS Hosting services like MailStreet. Otherwise use WAP version. See this FAQ item to choose version for your device and wireless carrier.
